Phil Foden has been speaking to Sky Sports ahead of the Premier League clash between Manchester City and Liverpool on Sunday.
The England international had plenty of praise for the Reds, specifically for Trent Alexander-Arnold.
What’s the story?
Well, Foden admitted that he loves watching the Liverpool No.66 play, and believes he’s one of the best passers he’s ever seen.
Speaking to Sky Sports, the Manchester City No.47 said: “Trent, I love the way he passes the ball. I think he’s one of the best passers I’ve ever seen. I do like watching him play.”
Clearly, Foden has a lot of respect for Alexander-Arnold – in truth, it’s hard not to appreciate the 23-year-old talents.

So far this season, the right-back has somehow registered 17 assists in 36 appearances, while also scoring two goals.
To record 19 goals involvements from right-back isn’t easy, and it takes a special player to be able to do it, which is exactly what Alexander-Arnold is.
Liverpool need Trent Alexander-Arnold in top form vs Manchester City
If Liverpool can beat the Citizens at the Etihad Stadium, it would be a simply monumental result.
To beat Pep Guardiola, Jürgen Klopp will need all of his players to bring their A-game, specifically Alexander-Arnold.
As we saw against Benfica – and in plenty of other games – the Liverpool-born maestro has the vision and ability to change a game from inside his own half, as he did when delivering a stunning pass in the buildup to Sadio Mane’s goal.

Manchester City tend to press high, so if Alexander-Arnold can find a way to play over the press and find the likes of Mane or Mohamed Salah with a long ball, it could help Liverpool find openings.
Whatever happens, it’s sure to be one of the most exciting Premier League games in recent times, with so much at stake.
