According to 90min, Erik ten Hag is likely to replace Ralf Rangnick at Manchester United, and his plans could annoy Tottenham.
What’s the story?
Well, the Dutchman is hoping to bring Ajax wonderkid Jurrien Timber with him to Old Trafford, if he swaps Amsterdam for Old Trafford.
According to a separate report from 90min, the 20-year-old is wanted by Tottenham and Chelsea, as a result of his fine displays for Ajax.
However, Ten Hag – the man who handed Timber his senior debut – is well placed to spoil the Premier League duo’s hopes of signing the defender.
So far this season, the youngster has impressive made 37 appearances for Ajax, playing a key role while also scoring three goals.
Timber has progressed so well at Ajax that he’s even won six caps for the Netherlands already, despite his age.

You can see why Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham are all interested in signing him.
Manchester United could cause Tottenham further issues
Aside from the update on Timber, 90min have more bad news for Spurs fans.
It is said that the Red Devils have been asked to stay informed about Harry Kane’s situation at Tottenham, and if he becomes available, Manchester United may consider taking action.

A summer where Ten Hag takes Timber away from Antonio Conte’s grasp, and also pinches Kane too, is the stuff of nightmares for Spurs fans.
However, there is still a long way to go until Ten Hag is appointed, let alone deals for Timber and Kane being sorted out as well.
