Charlie Adam has said on BBC Sport that Celtic central defender Cameron Carter-Vickers should have been penalised for a handball offence against Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s Rangers at Ibrox.
The former Rangers star believes that Carter-Vickers, on loan at Celtic from Tottenham Hotspur at the moment, committed a handball offence inside the Rangers penalty area in the second half of the Old Firm derby on Sunday afternoon.
The incident in the Scottish Premiership game happened on the hour mark.
Former Liverpool winger Ryan Kent played in Ryan Jack, and the midfielder’s cross hit the arm of Carter-Vickers.
No penalty was given.
It was a controversial decision.

Adam said on BBC Sport: “Rangers got away with one first half but that’s a penalty kick.”

Title race
In our opinion, the win for Celtic against Rangers has enhanced the Hoops’ chances of winning the Scottish Premiership title race this season.
The Bhoys are now as many as six points clear of second-placed and defending champions Rangers at the top of the league table.
Now, of course, there is still a lot of football to be played this season, but the title is Celtic’s to lose.
