According to Goal, Liverpool and Chelsea are interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain wonderkid Ismaël Gharbi, with his contract running down.
What’s the story?
Well, the 17-year-old is very, very highly rated, and PSG are desperate not to lose him this summer when his terms expire on June 30th.

Mauricio Pochettino has even described him as a “crack” – the French term for an undeniable young talent.
Gharbi has already made three first-team appearances for the French giants, and is often involved in training with the likes of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
However, the teenager has not enjoyed as much playing time as his fellow wonderkid Xavi Simons in Paris, and could leave as a result.
Goal believe Gharbi wants to stay at the Parc des Princes, but will require assurance over his chances of game time before committing to a new deal.
Amid the uncertainty, Liverpool and Chelsea are said to be considering moves for the prodigy, who has been called a “leader” by Crystal Palace coach and former PSG Under-15 manager Saïd Aïgoun.
Liverpool and Chelsea must attempt to raid PSG

In our view, this is a massive opportunity for Liverpool and Chelsea, one they cannot fumble.
Gharbi has been described by coaches at PSG as the only youngster who can impose himself on the first-team, among superstars such as Messi, Neymar and Mbappe.
That speaks volumes about the 17-year-old, who has the potential to become a Ballon d’Or winner one day.

As we all know, Chelsea have a phenomenal Academy which has produced gems such as Reece James, Mason Mount and Conor Gallagher, so Stamford Bridge would be a decent environment for Gharbi.
Likewise, Jürgen Klopp has often trusted youngsters at Liverpool, such as Harvey Elliott, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Curtis Jones.
Keep an eye on this saga, as the Reds and the Blues won’t want to miss out on the France Under-18 international.
