Here’s how much the NCAA Men’s Final Four tickets are and where you can buy them.
The Elite Eight round of this year’s NCAA Tournament is officially in the books and we now know who the Final Four are.
No.2 Duke will take on No.8 North Carolina as the two titans of NCAA basketball meet for the first time in Tournament history. In the other game, No.1 Kansas plays No.2 Villanova for a place in the Championship Game.
When are the games?
Both games tip off next Saturday (2 April) at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
First up will be No.1 seed Jayhawks and No. 2 seed Wildcats, which takes place at 6:09 p.m. on TBS. Right after that we have the Blue Devils vs the Tar Heels.
This year’s NCAA Championship Game takes place on Monday 4 April.
Final Four ticket prices revealed
After UNC put an end to St Peter’s Cinderella run this year, fans were desperate to find out how much the Final Four ticket prices were.
Like every other year, Final Four ticket prices don’t come cheap, especially now that Duke vs North Carolina is confirmed.
According to TicketIQ, All Sessions passes for the semi-finals start at $847. Tickets for just one of the semi-finals start at $470. TickPick has similar Final Four ticket prices – the lowest price for an All Sessions pass is $822 while a semi-final ticket in $456.
Interestingly, tickets for the NCAA Championship Game are much lower. This is usually because the two losing teams from the previous round sell their tickets before returning home.
According to TicketIQ, Championship Game tickets start at $243 while on TickPick they’re $235.
Coach K’s farewell game?
Legendary Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski is aiming for his sixth national title before he retires at the end of the season. Final Four ticket prices were already high and the Duke-UNC matchup has only added to their high demand.
North Carolina and Duke have played each other 257 times but never once met in the NCAA Tournament. They are two of the most successful school’s in NCAA history and Saturday represents an opportunity for bragging rights for life.
The Tar Heels already have one over on the Blue Devils this season. They handed them a 94-81 defeat in Coach K’s final home game at Cameron Indoor Stadium on 5 March.
On Saturday, Krzyzewski has the chance to put that right and move one step closer to his fairytale ending.
