
Aurelien Tchouameni has once again been impressive for France over the international break, with the rumoured Liverpool target now winning plaudits from manager Didier Deschamps.
Speaking to the press via GFFN, the 2018 FIFA World Cup-winning coach lauded the AS Monaco star after his match-winning goal for Les Bleus in an international friendly against the Ivory Coast.
The 22-year-old started in central midfield alongside Paul Pogba, with Tchouameni eventually being the hero for France in Marseille when the youngster bagged a 93rd-minute winner to secure the win for the home nation.
Indeed, Tchouameni has been in sensational form this season, with the midfielder’s performance for both club and country now attracting some major interest from across the continent, namely Liverpool.
According to Foot Mercato, the Reds are keeping tabs on Tchouameni, with the likes of PSG and Real Madrid also keen on signing the Monaco star, with Sport reporting that the French club are open to selling their star midfielder for €60m (£50m).
And now it’s not just top clubs around Europe who have been impressed with Tchouameni, but now Deschamps himself, with the France manager saying: “Aurelien is at a high level. He has enormous potential with a lot of control. He had already shown it in previous matches where he started or came on.”

Tchouameni’s performances for France continue to wow supporters, and given his age and skillset, the youngster could well be the next midfield star for Les Bleus in the generation that will succeed N’Golo Kante and Paul Pogba.
And for Liverpool, they simply have to win the race for Tchouameni this summer. After all, midfield is a position the Reds could do with strengthening and building for the future, and the France midfielder is showing with each international showing how perfect he is for the role at Anfield.
