Hull City winger Keane Lewis-Potter is a man in demand with Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United both interested in signing him.

That’s according to the Daily Mail, who claim that Lewis-Potter was close to joining Brentford for around £12million in January.

Lewis-Potter stayed put at Hull though and is now wanted by Tottenham and West Ham this summer.

Their interest is no great shock. Lewis-Potter has been sensational for Hull this season, racking up eight goals and three assists for the Tigers.

The winger is now in the England Under-21 squad having made rapid progress this season and a Premier League move could be on the horizon.

Hull coach Craig Fagan has offered a lofty comparison for Lewis-Potter, telling The Athletic that he plays similarly to Eden Hazard.

Lewis-Potter looks destined for the Premier League one day and could end up following in the footsteps of former Hull wide man Jarrod Bowen.

Joining forces with Bowen at West Ham may be appealing to Lewis-Potter, and he has now commented on the Hammers hero.

Lewis-Potter told the Mail that he is finding the interest flattering but is just focusing on playing his best football for Hull.

The Hull star added that he wants to be just like Mason Mount, Ben White or even Bowen himself in terms of rising from the EFL to Premier League stardom.

“[Interest is] definitely flattering,” said Lewis-Potter. “But it is about concentrating on my football at Hull at the minute and see where that can take me. You look in the past and see players like Mason Mount, Ben White and many more who played in the Championship and gone to the Premier League.”

“Jarrod [Bowen] started there and is at West Ham. There are so many talented lads in the EFL who will make that step up,” he added.

Bowen is the only one of those three who wasn’t on loan, with his rise making Hull millions.

That could be the case with Lewis-Potter too, with Tottenham and West Ham potentially bidding against each other this summer.
