Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are reportedly interested in Manchester City right-back Pedro Porro, who is enjoying a fantastic loan spell with Sporting Lisbon this season.

According to A Bola, the European giants are considering the 22-year-old defender as a potential summer signing, with Porro flourishing in Portugal after joining Sporting in 2020 on a two-year loan deal.

Whilst Record have previously reported that the Primeira Liga side have an option to buy Porro this summer, it appears that the defender will now actually return to Manchester where the Spaniard could be sold for a much higher fee.

As per the report, Porro could be sold this summer for as much as €30m (£25m), and given his age and incredible form this season for Sporting, there’s a real chance that either Real or Bayern take a punt on the promising fullback.

Despite developing well with Sporting, though, Porro has previously admitted that City boss Pep Guardiola has never spoken to him, with the defender even saying that he is not sure that the Premier League coach knew that he had signed for the club.

Porro told A Bola: “I’ve never spoken to Pep Guardiola. I don’t think he even knows they signed me. But they must be attentive to what I have been doing.”

Porro is yet to play a single minute for City, yet the Manchester club now look set to earn an impressive profit from the defender this summer with both Bayern and Madrid now eyeing a move for the young fullback.

Indeed, with no opportunities at City on the cards for Porro, leaving both the Premier League and Portugal with Sporting could be a smart idea for the Spanish youngster, especially with two clubs such as Bayern and Madrid interested in signing him.
