Joe Cole has praised Arsenal star Bukayo Saka on BT Sport 1 (2:30pm, March 19, 2022) for his performance against Aston Villa at Villa Park.
Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have got the better of Villa 1-0 away from home at Villa Park in the Premier League this afternoon.
England international attacker Saka scored the only goal of the match on the half-hour mark.
The youngster started on the right of a front-three, according to BBC Sport.
Former Chelsea and Villa player Cole was following the match for BT Sports 1, and he was impressed by 20-year-old Saka.
Cole said about Saka: “He is the shining light. He is a fantastic young player. He was a thorn in Villa’s side and got the Man of the Match award, and rightly so.”

Bukayo Saka played well for Arsenal v Aston Villa
In our opinion, Saka played well for Arsenal in their Premier League game against Villa.
The 20-year-old scored the winning goal and was a problem for the Villa defenders throughout his time on the pitch.
Saka took three shots, played two key passes, had a pass accuracy of 73.1%, took 49 touches, made one tackle, one interception and one clearance, and put in four crosses.
Arsenal’s win has enhanced their chances of finishing in the top four of the Premier League table this season.
And for that quest to be successful, in our view, Saka will have to stay on top of his game in the final weeks of the season.
