According to the Manchester Evening News, Liverpool are fans of Manchester United attacker Marcus Rashford.
The winger is reportedly questioning his future at Manchester United amid a lack of gametime for the Red Devils, and as you can imagine, that has put a number of top clubs on alert.
Arsenal have already been linked to Rashford, and now, it seems as though Liverpool are looking at him.
Indeed, the Merseysiders have reportedly made it known just how much they admire the England international, and from a purely footballing perspective, that makes sense.
Liverpool love a speedy wide player who can cut in and shoot on their stronger foot, and that’s exactly what Rashford does on that left wing.
Of course, a move would be difficult. Rashford would tarnish any goodwill he has with Manchester United fans if he swaps Old Trafford for Anfield, while it may be hard for Liverpool supporters to accept a player who came through the United academy.
Liverpool may be fans of Rashford, but after signing Luis Diaz in January, they don’t really need another left-sided player, and this move would be controversial to say the least.
This move seems to be unlikely.
