Did you know you can now see who viewed your TikTok profile?

Yes, there really is a way to check if your ex-boyfriend, cousin or a random girl from school has been stalking your profile

The feature actually used to exist but was removed in 2021. Now, it’s been added again in March 2022, but thankfully it’s optional.

Here’s exactly how to see who viewed your profile…

Tyumen, Russia – January 21, 2020: TikTok and Facebook application on screen Apple iPhone XR

First you need to enable profile views

The profile views feature is optional and if you want to use it, you will have to enable it.

  • Go to settings by tapping the three lines on the right-hand side of your profile.
  • Press ‘Settings and Privacy’ and then ‘Privacy’.
  • Tap ‘Profile Views’ and turn on ‘Profile View History’ by sliding the bar to green.

How to see who viewed your TikTok profile

After you’ve enabled the feature, an eye symbol should appear at the top of your inbox screen.

Click on this and it will show you who viewed your profile in the last 30 days.

TikTok will show the account name and profile photo so you will know exactly who has been stalking you.

Don’t forget that other people will also be able to see when you view their profile too.

It’s not available for everyone yet

If you don’t have the ‘Profile Views’ section on your settings, that’s because the feature isn’t available for everyone yet.

As with all new TikTok features, it is being rolled out gradually across the world.

When the feature becomes available, you will receive a pop-up message that says: “Turn on profile view history.”

Make sure you have updated your app to the latest version.
