MLB star Matt Olson is waving goodbye to the Oakland Athletics and is making himself home with the Atlanta Braves, ESPN reports.
As per MLB.com, Braves president of baseball operations Alex Anthopoulos is reportedly “thrilled” to acquire the star.

Matt Olson is married to 26-year-old Nicole Kidder, and the two have quite the history together.
As per PlayersWives, Kidder and Olson dated for a few years before tying the knot and were spotted together at baseball games as early as 2016.
Despite Olson’s successful sports career and time spent in the limelight, Nicole keeps things under wraps when it comes to her personal life – even her Instagram account is set to private! With that being said, FabWags reports that she works as a retail tenant advisor and is a graduate of the University of Georgia.
Aside from her career, Nicole also serves as Matt Olson’s number one fan. The pair are often spotted at games together, and she’s a frequent feature on the baseball star’s Instagram. During the off-season, the two reportedly live in Atlanta.

Nicole and Matt are newlyweds
After dating for so many years, Matt Olson finally put a ring on it.
The MLB star announced that he’d proposed to Nicole in December 2020 and, by November 2021, the two had tied the knot.
Matt shared a photograph of their wedding day on Instagram, writing: “A day I’ll never forget. A special weekend with friends and family. 11/20/21. So happy to call you my wife – I love you.”
Just a month later, in December 2021, the newlyweds were pictured at their ‘first honeymoon stop’ in Hawaii.

As mentioned, Matt and Nicole reside in Atlanta during the off-season, and it appears that the baseball star couldn’t be more excited to “go home” and join the Atlanta Braves.
Taking to Instagram, Olson wrote: “Thank you to the Oakland A’s for giving me a chance to pursue my dream over the last 10 years…
“…Today, I could not be more excited to go home and join the Atlanta Braves to start the next chapter of my career.
“I’m looking forward to the chance to help this team bring home another trophy. Let’s do this.”
