Gary Neville has said on Sky Sports Premier League (10:37pm, March 14, 2022) that Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are “dangerous” and could beat Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City to the Premier League title this season.
Being a former Manchester United player, Neville has admitted that it is not easy for him to give Liverpool such a huge compliment.
The Sky Sports pundit believes that Liverpool’s front-line is better than City’s attack.
Neville said: “I think Liverpool are really dangerous, really dangerous. It’s an awful thing to say, it’s an awful thing to say, but honestly, I look at those five strikers they have got, and you go into the last part of the season knowing that you could win an awful lot of football matches.”
Liverpool v Manchester City Premier League title race
In our view, Liverpool can go on and win the Premier League title this season.
Manchester City dropped points against Crystal Palace on Monday evening, and the Anfield faithful must be delighted with that.

City failed to score against the Eagles, with Bernardo Silva missing an easy chance.
Liverpool have a fearsome attacking unit.
Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota are brilliant players who score goals.
And lots of them.
Liverpool are on a roll now and also have a game in hand over City.
Manchester United and Liverpool are bitter rivals, and it must really hurt Neville to see the Reds do so well and potentially win yet another Premier League title.
