Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers have both been approached with a view to signing Shakhtar Donetsk talent Pedrinho amid uncertainty over his future in Ukraine.
The situation surrounding the war in Ukraine means football is far from the most important thing, but still needs to be resolved.
Foreign players in Ukraine are looking to leave in the near future, with FIFPRO calling for players to be able to terminate their contracts.
With that in mind, Brazilian stars are looking to leave Shakhtar with right back Dodo and winger Tete believed to be looking to move on.
Another such case is Pedrinho, with the Daily Mail claiming that Wolves and Everton asked to take him if he is able to leave Shakhtar in the coming weeks.
Whether Pedrinho would be allowed to play this season would be unclear, but the Premier League duo may well be tempted by the Brazilian ace.
Once compared to Neymar, Pedrinho was a wonderkid at Corinthians and attracted interest from Europe’s biggest clubs.
Benfica won the race in 2020, but Pedrinho failed to make much of an impact in Portugal and was flogged to Shakhtar in 2021.
With four goals and three assists in 19 games, Pedrinho has fared well at Shakhtar but his career and future are now in limbo.

Wolves have plenty of Portuguese speakers at Molineux, which may make them a particularly appealing option for Pedrinho if he does become a free agent.
A right-sided wide man or number 10 with a great left foot, Pedrinho could be a long-term addition with Francisco Trincao set to return to Barcelona this summer.
Everton may not seem all that attractive right now given their dismal situation in the Premier League, with relegation a very real threat for Frank Lampard’s side.
Everton haven’t quite solved their issues on the right side and Pedrinho could help, but Wolves would surely be a more appealing option for the Brazilian if he leaves Shakhtar.
