Manchester United are ready to sell Newcastle United target Dean Henderson in the summer transfer window, according to The Sun.
The report in the British tabloid has claimed that Manchester United are ‘hoping to get rid’ of Henderson at the end of the season and want to bring in West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Sam Johnstone to be a back-up to David de Gea.
This will be a boost for Newcastle in their quest to sign the £100,000-a-week goalkeeper (Spotrac).
GiveMeSport reported on Friday that Newcastle want to sign the 25-year-old England international in the summer transfer window.
We covered the report here on HITC Sport.
Dean Henderson would make Newcastle better
In our opinion, Henderson would be a good signing for Newcastle and would make Eddie Howe’s side.

The Englishman is a very good goalkeeper who has done well when he has played for Manchester United, impressing Newcastle legend Alan Shearer among others.
Martin Dubravka is the number one goalkeeper at St. James’ Park, and while he is good, he is in his mid-30s now and has made mistakes between the posts from time to time.
In our view, Henderson would be an upgrade on Dubravka, especially as he is in mid-20s and has his best years ahead of him.
