Planet Sport report that Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri will be the subject of a summer tug of war between Arsenal and West Ham. It is believed the Moroccan ace has been watched by the Gunners for the last couple of years.
Little surprise. The 24-year-old has been superb for Sevilla since swapping Leganes for Julen Lopetegui’s side in January 2020. Clocking up 95 appearances, he has scored an impressive 33 goals for the La Liga outfit.
But it is his physicality, strength and aura as a focal point that makes him absolutely crucial – more so, than just his goals. West Ham have been linked in the last couple of windows, making a bid in January 2021 for En-Nesyri.
That fell through, during a season in which the powerhouse striker scored 24 goals in 52 games. Now, it is claimed that both Arsenal and West Ham want to sign En-Nesyri this summer – and he could cost £40million.
That is despite En-Nesyri only scoring three goals all season. The report states that it would not be a surprise to see him end up in North London – with Arsenal in desperate need of a new striker at The Emirates.

A move to Arsenal would be superb for En-Nesyri. He would potentially be playing Champions League football for one of the biggest clubs in the Premier League, but the question is – does he suit Arsenal?
Certainly, he suits West Ham’s style of play more so – and the Hammers really need him. Michail Antonio’s form is dipping and he turns 32 at the end of the month. West Ham need him more, and he suits the Hammers.
