Teddy Sheringham has praised Tottenham Hotspur winger Dejan Kulusevski on Sky Sports Premier League (7:58pm, March 7, 2022).

The former Tottenham striker has said that he has been “very impressed” by what he has seen from Kulusevski so far.

Sheringham made the comments about Kulusevski in the build-up to the Premier League game between Tottenham and Everton at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Monday evening.

The 21-year-old started alongside Son Heung-min behind Harry Kane.

The Sweden international, who joined Tottenham on loan from Juventus in the January transfer window, provided two assists.

The Tottenham no. 21 has scored two goals and provided three assists in six Premier League appearances.

Tottenham’s Dejan Kulusevski impresses Teddy Sheringham

Sheringham said about Kulusevski when asked if he has been impressed: “I have. Sometimes it takes foreign boys a little while to settle in, scoring in the first couple of minutes is always nice on your debut, gets you off the mark. Very impressed.”

Making an impact

In our view, Kulusevski is a very good and promising young attacking player who could be a star for Tottenham.

The 21-year-old is doing well at the moment, and it seems that he has impressed Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte.

After all, that is why the Swede is starting matches.

We think that Kulusevski will play a big role for Tottenham in their quest to finish in the top four of the Premier League table.
