Rio Ferdinand has told West Ham United’s Tomas Soucek that he ‘hasn’t been good enough’ for him in his Fantasy Premier League team this season, as he told Vibe with Five.
The former Hammers centre-back added that he ‘done me good’ at the weekend when he scored the only goal of the game during West Ham’s 1-0 win against Wolves.
That was a massive three points for David Moyes’s side because, not only did they boost their Champions League hopes, but they also dented Wolves’.
There is still a long way to go in the race for the top four, but West Ham are trying to claw their way towards that all-important spot.
Ferdinand shared that, if Manchester United don’t make the top four, then he will be backing those from east London to do it instead, as he sent this message to Soucek.
“They have got a chance,” said Ferdinand. “Big result against Wolves.
“Soucek, in my dream team, he’s been bad for me this year. You haven’t been good enough this year man. But you did me a good one this week.
“They are just there. I said they will fall away a little bit and finish in a Europa place. If Manchester United don’t finish fourth, then I will be championing West Ham to finish there.”

Last season, Soucek proved to be a goalscoring machine from the middle of the park when he netted ten Premier League goals.
Given how deep he sits for Moyes’s side, it was pretty impressive from the hard-hitting midfielder.
Even his four goals this term have been valuable, it’s just a case of him setting the bar so high that people are expecting more.
But he has plenty of games to head towards that ten mark again, which would be some achievement from the box-to-box player.
