Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur have both been linked with a move for Torino star Bremer – and he has been hailed by Fabrizio Romano for dominating Dusan Vlahovic.

Bremer may not be the biggest name in Europe when it comes to centre backs, but he is fast emerging as a target for top clubs this summer.

Tuttosport reporter Camilo Forte claimed in February that Liverpool and Tottenham both want to sign Bremer this summer.

It’s even been claimed that Conte has been told to sign Bremer by former Roma transfer chief Gianluca Petrachi.

The race doesn’t end there though, because Newcastle had a £25million bid rejected for the Brazilian during the January transfer window.

Add in the natural interest of Italy’s biggest clubs and it looks like Bremer will be on the move come the end of the season.

Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano has now spoken about Bremer in his latest column for CBS Sports.

Romano claims Bremer is having an ‘excellent season’ full of ‘extraordinary’ performances for Torino.

A real feather in Bremer’s cap is that Romano claims Bremer is the only centre back who has been able to ‘destroy’ Dusan Vlahovic this season.

That’s despite the presence of other Serie A defenders such as Giorgio Chiellini, Milan Skriniar, Kalidou Koulibaly, Stefan de Vrij, Leonardo Bonucci and Matthijs de Ligt.

Bremer is seemingly on the rise at Torino, and Romano is predicting a mass scramble for his signature come the end of the season.

It’s hard to see Liverpool going for Bremer having splashed out for Ibrahima Konate last summer, though Joe Gomez could be on his way.

Newcastle or Tottenham make much more sense given their need for defensive reinforcements this summer, so keep a a close eye on Bremer ahead of the summer window.
