West Ham United are eyeing an audacious move for Leicester City star Youri Tielemans amid question marks over his future with the Foxes.
That’s according to 90Min, who claim that West Ham are keen on luring Tielemans to East London at the end of the season.
It’s stated that Tielemans isn’t interested in renewing his contract with Leicester and his representatives are making that stance clear.
Leicester paid £32million to sign Tielemans in 2019 and would now allegedly want £40million for the Belgian, who can leave for nothing in 18 months.
Five Premier League clubs are now believed to be queueing up for Tielemans.
Three of them you probably could have predicted; Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United are all thought to be interested.
The two surprises in the mix are Newcastle United and West Ham United, who would be considered ambitious in this race.
Tielemans would seemingly be looking to join one of the Premier League’s established elite having been on the outside with Leicester.
Joining West Ham may feel like something of a sideways move in that regard, even if David Moyes’ men are outperforming Leicester this season.

It would also be a huge surprise to see West Ham splash £40million on a central midfielder when the combination of Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek has been so vital for Moyes.
Newcastle are an intriguing option given that they will have bags of money to play with moving forward.
Any move this summer would of course hinge on Newcastle staying in the Premier League, but the Magpies appear to have an exciting project in the works.
Tielemans may have glitzier offers than West Ham and Newcastle, but with both teams eventually hoping to break into the Premier League’s top four, they may just fancy striking an audacious deal.
