Gilberto Silva has sent a message to Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli on Twitter following the match against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux Stadium.

Arsenal won 1-0 against Wolves away from home in the Premier League on Thursday evening.

Brazilian defender Gabriel scored the only goal of the match in the first half.

However, Arsenal had to struggle for the final 20 or so minutes of the game.

That’s because the Gunners went down to 10 men following the dismissal of Brazilian forward Martinelli.

The 20-year-old was shown two yellow cards for two fouls committed in the same passage of play.

As reported by The Sun, Martinelli tried to block a throw-in from being taken, pushing taker Daniel Podence.

Then moments later Martinelli committed a needless foul on Chiquinho, prompting referee Michael Oliver to blow his whistle.

Oliver showed the forward a yellow card for the incident on Podence and a second yellow card for his foul on Chiquinho.

Martinelli has said on Twitter that he is upset at the dismissal, and Arsenal legend and fellow Brazilian Silva has responded to it.
