Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has urged his teammate and club captain Alexandre Lacazette on Instagram to move on after the striker missed a good chance against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal got the better of Wolves 1-0 away from home at Molineux Stadium in the Premier League on Thursday evening.
Brazilian defender Gabriel scored the only goal of the match in the first half.
France international striker Lacazette provided the assist.
Arsenal ended the game with 10 men after Gabriel Martinelli was controversially sent off in the second half.
It could have been a 2-0 win instead of a 1-0 victory for Arsenal had Lacazette, recently appointed as the club captan, taken a good chance immediately after Martinelli got sent off.
The striker is disappointed and has expressed his frustration on Instagram, and Arsenal goalkeeper Ramsdale has responded to his post, as you can see below.

Moving on
Now, of course, Arsenal won against Wolves, so Lacazette’s miss did not come to haunt the Gunners.
However, as the striker himself points out, he should have really scored.
Having said that, we do find it very encouraging to hear the striker said that he will continue to work on his finishing despite being 30.
It shows that Lacazette, who is out of contract at Arsenal at the end of the season, is always looking to improve and better himself.
