Martin Keown claimed that Arsenal and Tottenham target Djed Spence was like a ‘Rolls-Royce’ during Nottingham Forest’s 4-1 FA Cup win over Leicester on Sunday, as he told BBC Sport.
The 21-year-old is seemingly on the radar of Spurs and Arsenal, as he showcased why at the City Ground.
Even though Forest are a Championship team, they well and truly dispatched Brendan Rodgers side by deservedly putting four goals past them.
Marching up and down that right flank like the Championship version of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Spence got on the scoresheet in the second half to all but put his side’s name into the next round.
Speaking during his commentary stint, Keown lauded Spence, who is on-loan at Forest from fellow Championship side Middlesbrough.
“He’s too quick for everybody,” said Keown. “Everything is going Forest’s way.
“Djed Spence has really impressed me. He’s on his loan from Middlesbrough. He’s been sent away to clear his head and he’s clearly doing that. He’s like a Rolls-Royce.”

Middlesbrough must have some high-quality right-backs given that they have allowed Spence to leave on loan.
The all-action fullback has been outstanding this season and a big reason why Steve Cooper’s men have now knocked two Premier League teams out of the FA Cup.
At first Arsenal, and now Leicester, on both occasions, it has been a dominant display from the men in the East Midlands.
As for Spence, his stock is only rising by these performances and it won’t be too long before he is donning the Premier League stage.
It’s just a case of Forest fans hoping that he does it in their colours by helping them earn promotion.
Even if they fail in their task this term, one thing is for sure, this kid is destined to get a shot at the big time sooner rather than later.
