Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has raved about Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah on Amazon’s YouTube channel.

Kane has been impressed by how Salah has done for Liverpool so far this season.

The Tottenham and England international striker believes that Egypt international and Liverpool forward Salah has been the best player in the Premier League so far this season.

Harry Kane praises Mohamed Salah

Kane said on Amazon’s YouTube channel, as transcribed by Football.London: “This year in the league? Yes, I think Mo Salah has been fantastic.

“Obviously, doing it against some of the biggest teams in the league as well, so he’s been there and he’s had a fantastic start to the season.”

Deserved praise for Liverpool star

In our view, it is great to see Kane praise Salah so publicly despite the two players being rivals.

Kane and Salah have been competing against each other for the Premier League Golden Boot for a few years now.

Now, of course, we know that the Tottenham striker is not having the best of seasons this campaign.

Salah, though, is producing the goods on a regular basis and is, without doubt, a world-class player.

The Liverpool no. 11 has scored 16 goals and provided nine assists in 20 Premier League appearances so far this season.

Salah has also scored seven goals in six Champions League games this season.

Liverpool paid AS Roma £34 million in transfer fees for Salah in the summer of 2017 (BBC Sport).

That looks like a bargain now.
