Leeds United consider Brenden Aaronson as the next Mateusz Klich, according to The Athletic.
The Athletic have reported that Leeds are determined to sign Aaronson from RB Salzburg in the summer of 2022.
The Premier League club had two offers for the 2 1-year-old attacking midfielder turned down in the January transfer window.

The second bid from Leeds was £20 million.
The Athletic have claimed that in Aaronson, Leeds ‘identified clear shades of Mateusz Klich’.
Brenden Aaronson would make Leeds better
In our view, Aaronson would make Leeds better, not just for next season, but for years to come.

Klich has been superb for Leeds over the years, especially under current head coach Marcelo Bielsa.
However, the Poland international is 31 now.
It is not easy especially for midfielders to consistently play the way Bielsa wants his teams to operate.
So, in our opinion, it makes sense that Leeds are looking for a younger version of Klich.
Aaronson – described by Philadelphia Union Sporting Director Ernst Tanner as “quite a unique player “ in The Inquirer in August 2020 – is a very good attacking midfielder who is a regular for Salzburg and in the USA national football team.
