According to The Athletic, Tottenham new boy Dejan Kulusevski has attracted interest from Manchester City.
What’s the story?
Well, it seems as if Harry Kane isn’t the only Tottenham player who has admirers at Manchester City.
The Athletic believe Pep Guardiola has expressed interest in the 20-cap Sweden international, which in some ways, bodes well for Spurs.
As one of the best coaches to have ever existed, the Spaniard clearly has an eye for a player, so it seems Tottenham have landed a gem.
It is also said that Antonio Conte tried to sign Kulusevski two years ago while in charge of Inter Milan.
However, the 21-year-old was unsure about where he would fit into the Italian’s 3-5-2 system, and opted to join Juventus after Fabio Paratici came calling.
Spurs have signed the Swedish wonderkid on an 18-month loan deal, where they will be obligated to buy him for £29m if certain conditions are met.
For now, the north Londoners have paid a €10m (£8m) loan fee.
Tottenham have a gem in Manchester City target Dejan Kulusevski

In our view, Spurs have made a fantastic signing in Kulusevski.
The man likened to Kevin De Bruyne burst onto the scene with Atalanta, which earned him a £29.7m move to Juventus at the age of just 19.
He is a huge talent, although he found himself caught up in one of the most turbulent periods in recent times at Juventus, as the Italian giants struggled under Andrea Pirlo.
Now, under a manager in Conte who has wanted him before, and a Director of Football who has already signed him, Kulusevski is surely in the right environment to thrive.

In light of his concerns about where he’ll fit in, it will be interesting to see how Conte uses the Stockholm-born forward.
Nevertheless, The Athletic state that people close to Kulusevski believe he has a knack of raising his level and adapting to new surroundings quickly.
In that respect, don’t be surprised to see him hit the ground running in N17.
