Video surfaces making claims about Funny Mike’s girlfriend

The Tea Room, a popular YouTube channel that focuses on drama or beef, posted a video on Tuesday (February 1st) claiming Funny Mike’s girlfriend was arrested last month.

A document shown in the video appeared to feature a 23-year-old named Jaliyah Anderson who had been charged with assault in Texas, with the person booked on January 25th, 2022.

The Tea Room video prompted fans to ask YouTuber Funny Mike what had happened.

Funny Mike responds to rumours

Following claims in the video, Funny Mike took to Instagram to clear everything up.

The YouTuber said the alleged assault had nothing to do with him, stating: “I stay to myself, I ain’t got nothing to do with that.”

Funny Mike later clarified: “She’s not in jail.”

HITC has reached out to Funny Mike and Jaliyah for comment.

The Tea Room then made a follow-up video covering the social media star’s response.

Jaliyah has been active on social media

Funny Mike further debunked claims made in the video by showing how active Jaliyah has been on social media during her supposed “arrest”.

Jaliyah took to Twitter on February 1st to write: “I’m really excited for my bday this year!!”

Likewise, the girlfriend of Funny Mike has also been posting on Instagram. Most recently, Jaliyah shared a behind-the-scenes video from a photoshoot.

So, there you have it. It seems as though those video claims were well wide of the mark.
