The Athletic are reporting this morning that Valencia want to sign Tottenham midfielder Alli on loan until the end of the season.
A small number of Premier League clubs are also interested in the England international midfielder.
Valencia are actually interested in another Tottenham player, as we have reported here on HITC Sport before.
The Spanish club are close to signing Spain international winger Bryan Gil on a loan deal from Spurs, according to well-known and well-respected journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli should take Valencia chance
In our view, if Alli gets the chance to join Valencia, then he should take it.
The 25-year-old midfielder has not been at his best for Tottenham for a while now.
And, in our opinion, it does not seem likely that Alli will star for Spurs under head coach Antonio Conte.
So, in our opinion, a change of scenario is what Alli needs at the moment.
Valencia are a big and established club in La Liga, and the midfielder could flourish in Spain.
