Juventus winger Dejan Kulusevski has agreed personal terms with Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported on Twitter that Kulusevski will fly to London on Sunday and complete his loan move to Tottenham.

Romano has added that Tottenham and Juventus are now preparing the paperwork for the loan transfer of the 21-year-old Sweden international winger.

Dejan Kulusevski loan deal sensible for Tottenham

In our view, a straight loan deal for Kulusevski is very sensible for Tottenham.

If Tottenham are not obliged to make the loan deal permanent in the summer of 2022, then, in our view, there is no harm whatsoever in this transfer for Antonio Conte’s side.

If Kulusevski does well for Spurs in the coming weeks and months, then the Premier League club could sign him on a permanent basis at the end of the season.

If the 21-year-old fails to make an impact at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, then Spurs could just let him go back to Juventus.

Tottenham managing director of football Fabio Paratici signed Kulusevski for Juventus, so, in our opinion, the North London club’s fans should trust his judgement.

The Sweden international winger has made five starts and 15 substitute appearances in Serie A for Juventus so far this season, scoring one goal and providing three assists in the process.

Kulusevski was described as a “great talent” by former Juventus and current Manchester United forward Ronaldo in Aftonbladet in September 2020.
