Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are facing a potential blow in their quest to sign Denis Zakaria, with Juventus reportedly making a bid for the defensive midfielder.
Earlier this month, ESPN reported that Liverpool are one of three clubs to have made ‘serious offers’ to Zakaria, who is out of contract at Borussia Monchengladbach in the summer of 2022 and currently earns £51,000 per week as salary (Salary Sport).
However, Juventus have now made a bid to German club Monchengladbach, according to Fabrizio Romano on Twitter.
And, according to the well-known and well-respected journalist, the 25-year-old Switzerland international is keen on a move to the Italian giants.
Liverpool need to bid for Juventus target Zakaria now
In our view, if Liverpool are keen on Zakaria, then they simply must bid for the Swiss midfielder now.
Juventus have made an offer, and the defensive midfielder is keen on a move to the Italian giants.

And time is running out for Liverpool.
The January transfer window closes on Monday night.
So, in our view, if Liverpool do not want to miss out on Zakaria, who is out of contract at Monchengladbach in the summer of 2022, then they should put together a bid for the 25-year-old now and then try to convince him to move to Anfield.
