Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Luis Diaz has agreed personal terms with Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool and is now set to join from FC Porto.

The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed that Liverpool and FC Porto are now preparing paperworks for the transfer of Diaz.

Romano has said that the 25-year-old Colombia international winger has agreed personal terms with Liverpool and will sign a five-year contract with the Premier League club.

Luis Diaz to Liverpool happening

In our view, it is only a matter of time before Diaz becomes a Liverpool player.

We have covered reports here on HITC Sport claiming that Liverpool and Porto have agreed a transfer fee over Diaz.

Tottenham Hotspur were reportedly keen on signing Diaz, but head coach Antonio Conte will not have the winger in his squad as Liverpool have beaten Spurs to his signature.

Diaz is a very good winger who has been doing well for Porto and is at the right age to take the next step in his career and move to Liverpool.

In our view, the Colombian will make Liverpool a better and more potent team in attack.

Liverpool already have four superb attacking players in Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino, Diogo Jota and Sadio Mane.

And with Diaz now about to join, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will have another brilliant option in attack.
