There might be some new information emerging about Tanguy Ndombele at Tottenham Hotspur.

The France international is linked with a transfer away from North London this month.

Everyone knows that.

And everyone knows that Paris Saint-Germain has, up until now, been considered a serious proposition for the former Lyon midfielder.

More recently, Everton have reportedly entered the race to sign the out-of-favour Tottenham midfielder.

However, both of those outfits – and Roma, another one in the mix – could be set for disappointment.

According to Calciomercato in Italy, Valencia have agreed a deal with Tottenham to sign the 25-year-old.

The Italian publication has reported that over the past ‘several days’, the Spanish outfit struck an agreement with the Lilywhites over taking the player to Los Che on a half-season loan initially.

The report adds that the Premier League side will continue to pay a chunk of Ndombele’s £200,000 per week wage packet.

Possible?

Listen, the closer we get to February 1, the more outlandish the transfer rumours will become.

However, this could potentially have legs.

A move to Paris Saint-Germain certainly made the most sense in terms of profile, because you could see the Tottenham misfit playing under Mauricio Pochettino once again, with the Argentine having signed him in 2019.

That being said, clearly negotiations between Tottenham and the Ligue 1 outfit haven’t been going swimmingly.

And if Calciomercato is accurate, then Valencia have leapfrogged their rivals and won the race to sign Ndombele.

It’s worth mentioning that the report only states that an agreement has been reached with Spurs, not the player himself.

And with the 25-year-old being, well, a little difficult sometimes, you could easily see him turning down this loan and holding out for a transfer to the French capital, but time will tell.
