Crystal Palace are eyeing a move for Ray Vallecano attacker Randy Nteka, with Bundesliga side Hoffenheim also interested in the 24-year-old.
According to L’Equipe, the Paris-born La Liga star is on the radar for Palace after a breakout season in the Spanish top-flight. Vallecano sit an impressive seventh in the division, with Nteka bagging three goals and two assists in 18 appearances.
This year has been the first Nteka has spent in the top-tier league, with the 24-year-old spending the majority of his career in the lower divisions in Spain. And now, in La Liga, the forward is taking his chance with both hands.
A versatile attacker who can also play in midfield, Nteka is just one of many interesting players on Vallecano’s books, with the forward revealing to Teller Report that he is currently being mentored by Colombian football legend Radamael Falcao.
A player who idolises Thierry Henry as per Teller Report, this season has been a huge one for Nteka, who now finds himself wanted by Palace heading into the final few days of the January transfer window.
The Eagles are keen to add attacking reinforcements to the squad before Monday’s deadline. And Patrick Vieira could make a move for Nteka in the coming days, with interest seemingly high in the forward.
Nteka could be ideal bargain signing for Crystal Palace

A player who is being mentored by one of the previous generation’s greatest goalscorers, Nteka has all the tools at his feet to become a real star in Spain with Falcao and company. And for Palace, the forward could be a great last-minute signing.
Indeed, Nteka has shown this season he can do the business in La Liga, and with Palace eager to sign an attacker, the Paris-born talent could be an option for Vieira with the time ticking down quickly on this January window.
