Gary Lineker was impressed by Crystal Palace youngster Michael Olise in the Eagles 3-1 loss to Liverpool yesterday at Selhurst Park.
Taking to Twitter, the Match of the Day presenter stated his admiration for the Palace winger after an impressive performance against Liverpool despite Palace ultimately losing the match.
Linker tweeted: “Talking of talented young players: Michael Olise is very, very gifted.”

The 20-year-old joined Palace in the summer from Reading for a reported fee of just £8m. And despite scoring just three goals and assisting five in all competitions, the signing has proven to be one of the best made by a Premier League club this season.
Olise has formed part of a young Palace side led by Patrick Vieira that could go places in the coming years. And in recent weeks, the former Championship star has made the right-wing position his own.
Indeed, the creative winger was one of Palace’s best players this weekend against Liverpool. And Lineker’s praise of Olise only goes to highlight just how impressive the youngster has been this season for the south London side.
Olise could be Palace’s best signing in years after Liverpool display

For £8m, it’s hard to find a better value for money signing in the past 12 months than Olise to Palace, and the London-born attacker’s display against Liverpool backed up this statement and then some.
Olise has taken to the Premier League like a duck to water. And with Lineker highly impressed with what he saw yesterday from the winger, Palace have seemingly got a gem of a player on their hands.
