According to RMC Sport, Tottenham could now sign a player from Paris Saint-Germain before the end of the January transfer window.

What’s the story?

Well, the French news outlet believe Mauricio Pochettino wants to take Tanguy Ndombele away from Spurs this month.

However, RMC Sport are claiming that Tottenham want PSG to pay the Frenchman’s £200,000-a-week salary in full.

It is not made clear whether PSG are willing to do that, although RMC Sport add that discussions over a swap deal have taken place.

Therefore, we could well see a PSG player holding a Tottenham shirt before the transfer window slams shut.

Ndombele has been training alone at Hotspur Way, and Antonio Conte is said to be concerned by the 25-year-old’s attitude.

It seems as if the £53.8m man – Tottenham’s club-record signing – has no future in N17 under the Italian.

Interestingly, Tottenham are actually believed to be interested in signing one PSG player this month – Mauro Icardi.

It was Calciomercato who revealed that Spurs are keen to sign the Argentina international, as Conte looks to help Harry Kane in attack.

In fact, it was even said that PSG are willing to sell Icardi for a loss of £20m this month, such is their desire to offload him.

In that respect, we could well see Icardi and Ndombele swap places.

Spurs need more strikers, whereas PSG could do with a new central midfield option, so it would be a deal which suits all parties.

Keep an eye on the situation, as anything could happen in the next 11 days.
