Eager for more time with Tessa and Hardin?
Well, you’re certainly not alone on that one, with audiences left desperate for another instalment after checking out After We Fell on Netflix recently.
The first movie in the series, After, premiered back in 2019 and was followed up with After We Collided, directed by Roger Kumble. Hero Fiennes Tiffin and Josephine Langford have been praised by fans of Anna Todd’s novel series for bringing the central characters to life.
However, it’s not the end of the road just yet. With another sequel in the midst, let’s look ahead to the After Ever Happy release date.
After Ever Happy release date
The After Ever Happy release date has been confirmed as Wednesday, September 7th 2022.
It’s important to note that it will be released theatrically on this date, so for those who want to see the fourth movie in the franchise upon its initial release, the big screen is the place to be.
Of course, there are no showtimes available just yet, but it will be worth checking your nearby multiplex for showtimes in the final week of August to make sure you snag tickets. The screenings are sure to be popular.
Fans can expect even more after that too because the author has written a prequel novel called Before which will be adapted. Additionally, although there isn’t a fifth book in the main continuity, there has already been an announcement regarding a fifth film to follow up After Ever Happy, with the two central stars reprising their roles.
Netflix release date prediction
Many are already wondering when After Ever Happy will hit Netflix, which is where plenty of fans have watched the previous entries.
No date has been confirmed just yet, but the most recent film’s release may suggest when to expect it. After We Fell was released in September 2021 and reached Netflix on Monday, January 17th 2022.
Taking this into consideration, perhaps we’ll see After Ever Happy finally reach the streaming service sometime in January 2023.
What is After Ever Happy about?
The 2022 film will serve as an adaptation of Anna’s 2015 novel of the same name and will involve time skips.
You can check out a synopsis below:
“A revelation about the past shakes Hardin’s impenetrable façade to the core – and then Tessa suffers a tragedy, putting their relationship on the brink. As the shocking truth about each of their families emerges, it’s clear the two lovers are not so different from each other.
“Tessa is no longer the sweet, simple, good girl she was when she met Hardin,” the synopsis continues. “… Any more than he is the cruel, moody boy she fell so hard for.”
After We Fell is now streaming on Netflix.
