Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has said that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has suffered an injury against Brentford, as quoted in The Liverpool Echo.
Oxlade-Chamberlain was in action for Liverpool in their Premier League game against Brentford at Anfield on Sunday.
Klopp’s side won 3-0.
Former Arsenal star Oxlade-Chamberlain scored one of the goals.
It came in the 69th minute.
The 28-year-old started on the right of a front-three that also had Roberto Firmino and Diogo Jota.
Oxlade-Chamberlain, who cost Liverpool £40 million when they signed him from Arsenal in the summer of 2017 (The Guardian), had to come off in the 74th minute.

The Liverpool Echo has quoted Klopp as saying that Oxlade-Chamberlain rolled his ankle before being substituted.
“Hopefully it’s not a serious injury”, adds the report.
Klopp told Liverpool’s official website: “He was really good, but that’s a shadow on the game [and] we don’t know yet.
“He rolled his ankle and now we hope it’s nothing serious but we will get the further – or final – information [at the] earliest tomorrow, that’s how it is [with] these situations.
“It’s absolutely too early [to say], I have no idea. I don’t know.”
Potential blow for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
It remains to be seen the extent of the injury suffered by Oxlade-Chamberlain.
We will get to know for how long the 28-year-old will be on the sidelines in the coming days.
Hopefully for Liverpool and for Oxlade-Chamberlain, it is not a serious injury.
Oxlade-Chamberlain played well against Brentford and impressed some Liverpool fans.
With Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane away on international duty at the Africa Cup of Nations, Oxlade-Chamberlain will get chances for Liverpool in the coming weeks.
We know the injury problems that the Englishman had first at Arsenal and then at Liverpool.
Hopefully Oxlade-Chamberlain will recover soon and will be back in action for Liverpool before long.
