West Ham United are competing with Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur for the signing of Fabio Carvalho, according to TEAMtalk.
TEAMtalk have reported today that West Ham, Liverpool, Tottenham and Southampton are interested in signing Fulham attacker Carvalho.
Carvalho, who can play as a winger or as an attacking midfielder, is out of contract at Fulham at the end of the season.
TEAMtalk have claimed that talks over a new deal are not progressing, and that Fulham fear that he may have already agreed a contract with another club.
It was TEAMtalk who reported in November that Liverpool were confident of winning the race for Carvalho.
Could West Ham beat Liverpool to Fabio Carvalho?
In our view, West Ham could beat Premier League rivals Liverpool to the signature of Carvalho.
Yes, Liverpool are a big club, but the 19-year-old is unlikely to get into their first team straightaway.
It is very likely that the attacker would have to feature for the Liverpool youth teams initially.

Now, West Ham could offer him a direct route to the first team.
The Hammers could end up in the Premier League top four and would then require a big squad.
Now, of course, Carvalho would have to work extremely hard, but he would stand a better chance of become a first-team member at West Ham than at Liverpool.
Carvalho has made 11 starts and three substitute appearances in the Championship for Fulham so far this season, scoring four goals and providing one assist in the process.
