Joe Barone has said that Fiorentina are ready to sell Dusan Vlahovic, amid interest from Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur and Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, as quoted in Football Italia.
Tottenham and Arsenal are interested in signing Vlahovic from Fiorentina in the January transfer window, according to a report in The London Evening Standard this week.
Arsenal are reportedly working on a £58 million transfer deal for the 21-year-old striker, but Tottenham remain keen on the Serbia international.
And, according to Fiorentina director Barone, the Italian club are ready to listen to offers.
The Italian club’s official has also urged Vlahovic to publicly state his plan regarding his future.
Football Italia quotes Barone as saying when asked if the striker could be sold for €80-€90m (£66.85-£75.21m) in January: “Of course, we are ready to evaluate anything that arrives. So far, no offers have arrived.”
Barone added: “I can only talk about what we discussed. Obviously, when last time Rocco Commisso was here, the figures were almost doubled, we couldn’t talk about it.
“I had a long conversation with Dusan the other day and I told him we need to understand his path. If he wants to stay at Fiorentina, then sign the contract. If he wants to leave, then say so publicly.
“He can’t string an entire club, city and fanbase along waiting for him. From what I heard, he is not prepared to speak out, so we have to make our decision within the club.”

Tottenham should bid for Dusan Vlahovic
In our opinion, Tottenham should make a move for Vlahovic in the January transfer window.
Now, of course, Fiorentina will want a lot of money, and Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy may not be willing to pay it.
However, in our view, Spurs should still test the water and see what happens.
There is no harm in making an offer.
Vlahovic is one of the best strikers in the world and would make Tottenham a better team.
Yes, Harry Kane is a world-class striker, but the Tottenham star is not having the best of seasons.
Even if Kane starts firing, we still think that Spurs need to sign another striker to support him.
Vlahovic has scored 16 goals and provided two assists in Serie A so far this season, and scored 21 goals and gave three assists in the league in 2020-21.
