Juventus midfielder Arthur Melo is confident that he will join Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal in the January transfer window, according to The Daily Mail.

The Daily Mail have quoted sources close to Arthur as saying that ‘there’s a very large possibility’ that the midfielder will become an Arsenal player this month.

The 25-year-old midfielder is reportedly aware that he will get playing time at Arsenal.

The report has claimed that Juventus could demand that Arsenal pay £35 million for Arthur in the summer of 2022 if they finish in the Premier League top four.

The Italian giants want to make sure that any loan deal with Arsenal has an obligation to buy at the end of the season.

Arthur Melo to Arsenal happening?

In our view, it looks likely that Arthur will become an Arsenal player soon.

If the 25-year-old wants to move to the Gunners and the North London club themselves are keen on signing him, then it is very likely that an agreement will be reached with Juventus.

Football London have reported that Arsenal want to secure the services of Arthur by 12pm today so that he can feature against Tottenham Hotspur in the North London derby at the weekend.

The Brazil international is a very good midfielder who would give Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta another option in the middle of the park.
