The Anacrusis early access comes to Xbox Game Pass tomorrow, and its crossplay and cross platform multiplayer status with PC is good news.
It’s a forthcoming co-op shooter that some have likened to Left 4 Dead and Back 4 Blood but with a futuristic sci-fi setting. You fight off waves of aliens on a pretty snazzy and gorgeous ship, so it should offer some fun despite lacking a large number of maps and modes.
Although it is only available via early access, the good news is that you will be able to play and sample it for free.
Is The Anacrusis crossplay?
The Anacrusis is crossplay and thus has cross platform multiplayer between Xbox and PC.
It doesn’t matter whether you’re playing via Steam or the Epic Games store either. This was confirmed in devlog 12 and is fantastic news for the game as it will allow mates on other systems to team up.
As for what the cross platform multiplayer is all about, you can team up with three other players to fend off waves of aliens. It’s said to boast a large number of creative weapons and you will be rewarded with plenty of perks and prizes.
In addition, the game will also launch with mod support including a selection of modifications directly from its Discord community.
