Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly tabled a player-plus-cash deal to sign Juventus attacker Dejan Kulusevski. It is believed that Spurs are ready to pay £15million, and sacrifice Japhet Tanganga – and fans have had their say.
Kulusevski, 21, is a player that has been regularly linked with a move to Tottenham. The Mail report that Spurs are interested, but that they face competition from Arsenal and Aston Villa for the Sweden international.
Of course, Fabio Paratici lured him to Juventus while at the Serie A club. Now, the Spurs sporting director is keen to sign the attacker for a second time in his short career – with Kulusevski a bit-part player at Juve.
CalcioMercato now report that Tottenham could offer a player-plus-cash deal to blow their rivals aside and land Kulusevski this month. The report claims Paratici could offer Tanganga, and a fee in the region of £15million.
Tanganga, Kulusevski swap: What do Tottenham fans think on Twitter?
Antonio Conte is playing three at the back and Tanganga does suit the right-sided centre-back role. He is probably not as commanding enough to play in the middle, and not attacking enough to play as a wing-back.
But he is ideal in that right centre-back role. He also offers Tottenham a homegrown quality that is crucial when it comes to Premier League, and European registration. However, Spurs do have other options.
Davinson Sanchez and Cristian Romero are also ideal on the right of a back three. So, could Tanganga be seen as flexible – especially if it means signing Kulusevski? Tottenham fans are all for a potential deal.
