Lord Sugar has praised Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Harry Winks on Twitter for his goal against Morecambe at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the third round of the FA Cup on Sunday.

The former Tottenham chairman was following the match between Tottenham and Morecambe today.

It finished 3-1 to Antonio Conte’s side.

Spurs went behind on 33 minutes and did not play well in the first half.

However, Tottenham launched a comeback late in the second half.

England international midfielder Winks scored in the 74th minute with a very good free kick.

And Lord Sugar was impressed.

Tottenham need to do better

Tottenham were far from impressive against Morecambe and ideally should have won by a bigger margin.

Not many of the Spurs players played well, and Conte will be disappointed.

It is clear from the match against Morecambe that the Tottenham players need to step up.

Conte is a serial winner who has won league titles with Chelsea, Inter Milan and Juventus.

The Tottenham boss will want to win the FA Cup this season, and he will surely want his players to perform much better than he did today.
