Fans love Attack on Titan season 4 part 2’s new opening song…
The new opening theme song for Attack on Titan season 4 part 2 is called “The Rumbling” and is performed by the Japanese alterative metal band ‘SiM’.
“The Rumbling” sadly hasn’t yet been officially released for online streaming on Spotify and YouTube, but is expected to launch publicly following the conclusion of episode 76 later on this evening.
However, users can already listen to the new opening song following the song being shared online by various fan accounts, including the Attack on Titan wiki page, which you can check out below.
‘SiM’ reportedly stands for Silence iz Mine, with the band forming in 2004 as a three-piece act – several members left and were replaced. The band was signed to Sony Music in 2006, but is now under the Universal Music Japan label since 2013.
Interestingly, this is not the first time that SiM have featured as part of an anime series’ official soundtrack. The band performed the opening themes for the Rage of Bahamut anime, “Existence” in 2014 and “Let It End” in 2017.

What is the best Attack on Titan song?
Whilst the content of anime particular anime series or movie is the make-or-break for success, a rather understated factor in how memorable a title becomes can be the soundtrack.
Thankfully, the anime industry has produced some of the most memorable and recognisable theme songs in recent times; from Giorno’s Theme (JoJo), to Black Catcher (Black Clover) Lost in Paradise (Jujutsu Kaisen) the list goes on and on.
However, Attack on Titan has featured countless fantastic songs, including the aforementioned ‘Guren no Yumiya’. According to GameRant, these are the six best opening songs from the hit anime:
- “Jiyuu no Tsubasa” from Season 1 Part 2
- “Shinzou Wo Sasageyo” from Season 2
- “Shoukei To Shikabane No Michi” from Season 4 Part 2
- “Red Swan” from Season 3 Part 1
- “Guren no Yumiya” from Season 1 Part 1
- “My War” from Season 4 Part 1
