Confirmed West Ham v Leeds lineups: Bate starts, Greenwood given a chance

West Ham United starting XI: Areola; Fredericks, Dawson, Diop, Johnson; Rice, Soucek; Bowen, Lanzini, Vlasic; Antonio.

West Ham United substitutes: Randolph, Baptiste, Alese, Masuaku, Noble, Kral, Okoflex, Fornals, Yarmolenko.

Leeds United starting XI: Meslier; Ayling, Llorente, Hjelde, Firpo; Koch, Bate; James, Klich, Harrison; Greenwood.

Leeds United substitutes: Klaesson, Drameh, Moore, McCarron, Jenkins, Forshaw, Dallas, Summerville, Raphinha.

West Ham United and Leeds United meet in the FA Cup third round this afternoon.

Alphonse Areola comes into the West Ham side with Lukasz Fabianski given a rest.

It’s a back four for West Ham today with Craig Dawson and Issa Diop in the heart of defence.

Ryan Fredericks and Ben Johnson are the full backs, with Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek in midfield.

Manuel Lanzini starts as the number 10, with Jarrod Bowen and Nikola Vlasic flanking Michail Antonio up top.

Armstrong Okoflex makes the bench, joining Darren Randolph, Aji Alese, Arthur Masuaku, Mark Noble, Alex Kral, Pablo Fornals and Andriy Yarmolenko.

Leeds have Illan Meslier in goal in what is a very youthful side.

Luke Ayling and Diego Llorente offer experience at the back, with Leo Hjelde given a start too.

Junior Firpo completed the back four, with Lewis Bate and Robin Koch in midfield.

Sam Greenwood leads the attack, with support from Daniel James, Mateusz Klich and Jack Harrison.

Raphinha is only on the Leeds bench, joining Kristoffer Klaesson, Cody Drameh, Kris Moore, Liam McCarron, Jack Jenkins, Adam Forshaw, Stuart Dallas, and Crysencio Summerville.
