According to Yahoo Esportes, Liverpool and Manchester City have made contact with Palmeiras over the signing of 15-year-old wonderkid Endrick.
What’s the story?
Well, Liverpool and Manchester City have seemingly made their move for a forward who could become one of the best on the planet.
Yahoo Esportes believe Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester United have also enquired about Endrick.
The 15-year-old is, quite simply, a sensation in Brazil right now, having scored 165 goals in 169 games across the Palmeiras youth ranks.
Therefore, it’s no surprise to see some of the biggest clubs on the planet sniffing around – he could easily become the next Neymar, in our view.
Endrick impressively marked his debut in the São Paulo Junior Cup with two goals in a 6-1 win over Assu, where he was playing alongside players six years older than him.
The teenager’s father, Douglas, also gave up his job to help Endrick focus on his footballing career, such is the rich nature of his potential.

As he’s yet to hit 16 years of age, Endrick does not actually have a professional contract.
However, if Liverpool and Manchester City want to snap him up before he signs one, they will have to pay a compensation sum equivalent to 200 times the amount Palmeiras have spent on Endrick’s scholarships, studies, training, health and housing.
Exciting for Liverpool and Manchester City
Both Jürgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola are clearly keeping an eye on the next generation, for the sake of their respective club’s future.
Manchester City recently signed Brazilian sensation Kayky, whereas Liverpool snapped up Harvey Elliott from Fulham and Kaide Gordon from Derby.

Evidently, both the Reds and the Citizens are staying on top of football’s next big things, which could pay off greatly in a few years.
Judging by his utterly phenomenal goal record for Palmeiras, Endrick could well go on to become a potential Ballon d’Or winner.
Keep an eye on this saga, as Liverpool and Manchester City will surely want to snap the wonderkid up before he’s worth millions.
