Goal Brasil claim Liverpool, Everton and Aston Villa are all interested in luring Philippe Coutinho back to the Premier League this month. Barcelona are widely renowned for being keen to offload the ex-Reds star soon.

Barcelona’s financial woes are expected to see the club offload some of their high-earning fringe players. The likes of Coutinho, along with Samuel Umtiti, Ousmane Dembele, Martin Braithwaite and more.

Coutinho, 29, has only played 106 times for Barcelona since joining the club in January 2018. He has failed to live up to his transfer fee, entering the last 18 months of his contract. A return to England could be on the cards.

He has been linked with numerous London clubs, big-spending Newcastle and more. But now, a report from his home country claims that Liverpool, Everton and Villa are the three clubs pushing to nab his signature.

Everton, Liverpool or Villa – which is best for Barcelona star Coutinho?

In Coutinho’s position, the Brazilian is likely to be tempted by all three. A move to Everton would see him play week in, week out. The Toffees lack a proper no.10, especially after the departure of James Rodriguez.

What could put him off, is the Merseyside rivalry – something which angered many when Rafa Benitez joined. Steven Gerrard branded Coutinho “magical” in 2017 (GOAL), so it is hardly a surprise to see Villa linked.

Villa have Emi Buendia but Coutinho is a huge improvement. At Liverpool, he would surely be welcomed back – but the Reds do have the likes of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Harvey Elliott and Curtis Jones. Villa, might b best.
