West Ham United are ready to make a new move for Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard as David Moyes chases a reunion.

The Express claim that West Ham are now working on a new bid to try and finally bring Lingard back to East London.

Lingard spent the second half of last season on loan at West Ham, bagging nine goals and four assists in 16 games.

West Ham of course wanted to keep Lingard, but that didn’t happen as Manchester United stood firm.

Lingard has barely kicked a ball since. The 29-year-old hasn’t started a single league game and has only managed 88 minutes of Premier League action this term.

It’s clear that Lingard just isn’t ever going to have a key role at United and needs to leave for his own good.

West Ham can give Lingard a much bigger role, and the Hammers hope that United will accept a deal of around £10million.

Lingard is out of contract at the end of the season, meaning he is just months away from leaving Old Trafford for nothing.

Taking the £10million now could be very appealing to United, whilst Lingard would surely love playing under David Moyes again.

Links to Newcastle have died down, and West Ham could really be favourites for Lingard again this month.
