Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to react after Adama Traore delivered the cross which led to Joao Moutinho’s goal against Manchester United.
What’s the story?
Well, the Tottenham target was instrumental in helping Wolves record their first Premier League win at Old Trafford last night.
After replacing Francesco Trincao in the 66th minute, Traore repaid Bruno Lage by having a decisive impact in the 82nd minute.
Traore burst past Luke Shaw before delivering a teasing cross into the box, which Moutinho slotted home after a poor clearance from Phil Jones.
According to The Telegraph, Spurs can sign the 8-cap Spain international for around £20m, but may face competition from West Ham.
One supporter said that Antonio Conte can “elevate” Traore’s dribbling and direct nature, whereas another fan simply said “get him in”.
It comes after Nuno Espirito Santo saw a Deadline Day bid rejected for the 25-year-old back in the summer, according to The Athletic.
Adama Traore would shine at Tottenham
Interestingly, Conte wanted Traore at Chelsea back when he was in charge of the Blues, according to the Evening Standard.
The Italian was keen to deploy the Spaniard in a right wing-back role, where we feel he’d thrive at Tottenham.

Traore can be a bit brainless at times, and his decision making holds him back from becoming one of Europe’s best.
In terms of physical attributes, there probably isn’t a quicker player on the planet, nor a stronger one.
Therefore, with the right coaching at Hotspur Way, Conte could simplify Traore’s game to the point where he becomes a real force for Spurs.
Undoubtedly, there’s a fine player in there somewhere.

Nuno came close to unlocking Traore’s potential when he managed to get six goals and 12 assists out of the Wolves No.37 in the 2019/20 season.
If Nuno got that out of him, imagine what Conte could do with the ex-Barcelona speedster.
For now, let’s see what the Tottenham fans have been saying about Traore after Wolves beat Manchester United…
