Adama Traore is seemingly back on Tottenham Hotspur’s radar.

The Wolverhampton Wanderers winger was heavily linked with a move to Tottenham during the summer.

However, nothing materialised.

But The Telegraph claimed in December that Spurs remain interested in the 25-year-old attacker.

In October, Wolves reportedly valued Traore at around the £30 million mark.

But Talksport has reported this evening that Tottenham could pick him up for only £20 million this month.

Journalist Alex Crook added that the Lilywhites ‘ managing director Fabio Paratici is a big admirer of the Spain international, because he can ‘terrorise’ defences.

Worth a gamble?

Well, it certainly changes the complexion.

Look, everyone knows that Traore is a huge talent and is probably the quickest, strongest player in the whole Premier League.

But zero goals and zero assists this season also illustrates that he fails to utilise his physical attributes.

That being said, for £20 million, it’s worth it for Spurs.

That’s because if a coach like Antonio Conte can improve Traore, you’re looking at an absolute monster.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has labelled him ‘undefendable’, which should tell you something.

The truth is, £20 million isn’t a huge sum and with the reduced price, Spurs should absolutely take a punt.
